LidarKit is a set of free, browser-based tools for point clouds and terrain: LAZ to LAS and LAS to LAZ conversion, E57 to LAS, a 3D point cloud viewer, a COPC streaming viewer, DSM and DTM generation, classification and point cloud comparison, alongside a library of LiDAR guides.
Nobody lands on a LAZ decompressor by accident. The people using these pages have a LiDAR file in hand and a job to do with it — the same people who buy point cloud software, scanners and drone payloads, survey and mapping services, LiDAR data, and training.
LidarKit is a young site with a small, growing audience. We will share the current traffic figures from our analytics when you get in touch, and price the sponsorship to match them rather than to a rate card written for a bigger site.
What you get
- Your banner on the website, linking to the page of your choice. We agree the pages and the position with you before anything goes live.
- A clear "Sponsor" label next to it, so visitors know it is a paid placement and not part of the tool.
- A flat monthly fee, agreed up front. No bidding, no per-click billing, no minimum term beyond the month you pay for.
- Clicks you can measure yourself. We add UTM parameters to your link, so visits from LidarKit show up in your own analytics.
How banners are served
LidarKit's promise to its users is that their files never leave their browser, and sponsorship does not change that. Your banner is an image hosted on this site with an ordinary link to yours — no third-party ad script, no tracking pixel, and no cookies set on your behalf. That keeps the pages fast and the placement trustworthy, which is the reason a visitor is willing to look at it.
Send us the artwork as PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. Static banners work best; we do not run pop-ups, autoplaying video or anything that covers the tool.
Who we work with
Companies whose products or services are useful to people working with LiDAR, point clouds, surveying, mapping or GIS. We keep the right to decline a sponsor whose offer is unrelated to the site or that we would not be comfortable recommending to the people who use it. Sponsorship buys a banner; it does not buy a mention in a guide or a change to how a tool works.
